Courses in social sciences, humanities, or professional studies that focus on a specific global region of the student's selection and are approved for International Studies. Students may enroll in additional courses not listed here with permission from the International Studies Undergraduate Coordinator.
All International Studies majors must select a specific world region as their concentration area. This chosen region influences both the Category A course selections and the foreign language requirement for the degree. Prospective International Studies majors are encouraged to complete introductory-level coursework in high school or college to help identify their preferred regional focus for the program.
