The Bachelor of Music in Recording and Production program prepares students to become skilled engineers and producers across various musical styles including jazz, classical, pop, rock, and more. This competitive program offers conservatory-caliber training within a dynamic liberal arts college setting. Participants receive instrumental instruction (in classical or jazz), explore music history, master music theory, and gain hands-on experience in creating exceptional audio productions.
Lamont's tuba program maintains exceptionally high standards, offering students personalized mentorship, intensive instruction, and numerous performance chances. Tuba students learn under the guidance of renowned musician and educator Steve Dombrowski, who serves as principal tubist for the Colorado Symphony.
