As a cello student at Lamont, you'll learn from Professor Matthew Zalkind and gain insights from Professor Heather Hadley's teaching expertise. Zalkind, a prize-winner in prestigious international competitions like the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, brings extensive performance experience as a former member of the Harlem String Quartet and current international soloist. His deep knowledge helps students refine their technical skills while cultivating their artistic expression.
