They learn from Colorado Symphony's principal violist, Professor Basil Vendryes, whose distinguished career includes positions with the San Francisco Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic, and New York Philharmonic. Professor Vendryes has performed internationally as a soloist and recorded for prestigious labels including Columbia, Phillips, Decca, RCA, and Nonesuch, along with chamber music recordings for Ariel Music, Cadenza Music, Centaur, CRI Toccata, and Naxos.
