The M.S. in finance program equips students with both theoretical foundations and hands-on expertise to become forward-thinking, knowledgeable finance practitioners. The coursework focuses on financial principles and analytical techniques used in corporate finance, asset valuation, financial modeling, investment management, financial services, risk assessment, and governance. Students also benefit from practical learning opportunities at the Michael and Rosann Geltzeiler Trading Center, where they work with live financial data streams. This combination prepares graduates for careers in corporations, financial institutions, consultancies, and government organizations. The program also offers flexibility for those considering doctoral studies. Full-time students can finish the 30-credit program in nine months through the accelerated track (with prior finance experience) or complete it within 18 months through the standard full-time option.
