Qualification Requirements

The M.S. in Finance is designed specifically for those without a previous background or education in finance. Applicants from other quantitative backgrounds engineering, physics, mathematics, etc. are encouraged to explore the program and apply.

Applicants who received an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, or those who will have their degree conferred from the University of Notre Dame, may have the option to waive the GRE/GMAT requirement. They are still welcome to take the exam but a lack of score will not have a negative impact on their admissibility.

A bachelor's degree or its equivalent, as well as an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

Transcripts - An unofficial transcript for each post-secondary institution must be uploaded and submitted through the Online Application Form. Any transcripts received either by mail or electronically will be discarded. An official transcript will be required only if the student accepts an offer of admission to Notre Dame.

IELTS - 7.0, TOEFL IBT - 80, with a minimum of 23 on the Speaking section. Duolingo English Test, the minimum score is 120.
