The University of Delaware's Asian Studies Program offers an interdisciplinary approach, enabling students to study Asia's diverse histories, political systems, languages, cultural traditions, and religious practices. Through this program, learners develop the ability to analyze Asian arts, literature, and social structures while understanding the region's rich cultural diversity. Participants examine how various local, national, and regional cultures interact both within Asia and globally. The curriculum includes 12 credits, with 6 credits earned during a winter or summer study abroad experience in an African nation.
