The Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology provides a combined 4+1 BS/MS program enabling students to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Insect Ecology and Conservation and a Master of Science in Insect and Wildlife Environmental Education simultaneously. Students must fulfill all requirements for both degrees. A maximum of six graduate-level credits in Insect Ecology and Conservation can count toward both degree programs.
Within the Insect Ecology and Conservation (BS) program, students can concentrate their biological studies on insects. The curriculum combines foundational science courses with specialized insect studies, offering flexibility to focus on insect biology, ecology, or pest control. The program emphasizes practical, experiential learning through hands-on activities.
