The Statistics 4+1 (BS/MS) Program helps students by (1) leveraging our strong undergraduate curriculum, (2) maximizing participation in graduate internships and research opportunities, and (3) obtaining an advanced degree more quickly, enhancing graduates' career prospects. Similar to our standard Statistics MS program, this accelerated 4+1 option combines theoretical statistics training with practical coursework and hands-on experience through the StatLab and corporate internships. Graduates of this program will: Gain fundamental knowledge in probability theory, mathematical statistics, and optimization techniques. Complete essential training in regression analysis, experimental design, and multivariate methods. Experience statistical consulting practice. Apply their learning through thesis projects, applied research, or internship placements.
