The Medical Diagnostics program is a science-based curriculum with a clinical focus, combining foundational science prerequisites for medical school with specialized courses in disease diagnosis and treatment. This degree path is designed for students aiming to enter graduate-level healthcare programs after completing their undergraduate studies, such as medicine, dentistry, optometry, physician assistant programs, and related medical fields. Prospective medical students are encouraged to consult UD's Pre-Med website for guidance on advising and application procedures. Admission to professional schools can be achieved through two different routes: one available to students from any major with fundamental science and math coursework, and another more specialized pathway.
