Human Services (HS) students cultivate the expertise needed to transform lives across all age groups and family structures. With three specialized tracks to choose from, graduates can pursue careers in diverse environments like nonprofits, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, community initiatives, and legal advocacy groups, making meaningful contributions in areas such as youth empowerment, disability services, racial equity, juvenile justice, addiction recovery, and domestic violence prevention.
Program Learning Outcomes Students completing the Early Childhood Development Concentration will demonstrate: 1. Application of theoretical frameworks and hands-on skills to support individuals and families across community contexts. 2. Ability to implement or leverage family-focused research. 3. Understanding of various preventive measures, intervention strategies, and policy solutions in human services. 4.
