Psychology explores mental processes, brain functions, and resulting behaviors. Our undergraduate program teaches fundamental concepts of human and animal behavior, the research techniques behind these discoveries, and practical applications of this knowledge.
The social studies education program offers seven major options: Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. We prepare middle and high school educators passionate about shaping young minds through social studies instruction. Our alumni focus on developing students into knowledgeable, involved, and compassionate community members - the leaders of tomorrow. We strive to motivate future teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that connect learners to historical and contemporary societal contexts. This dedication, paired with our program's high standards, prepares graduates for teaching positions across the Eastern Seaboard, nationwide, and internationally.
