Political science education covers both domestic and global political systems, policy makers, and methods for teaching these subjects at the high school level. Students develop crucial abilities in analytical thinking, verbal and written expression, and numerical analysis while pursuing their teaching credentials. The program mandates 30 credit hours of political science classes, with three foundational courses: American Government Fundamentals, World Politics Overview, and Political Science Research Techniques. In addition to these core classes, students enroll in advanced political science electives, complementary studies in economics, history, geography, and psychology, along with professional education training. The curriculum also includes hands-on teaching practice through student teaching placements.
