Students pursuing majors or minors explore the dynamic interactions between diverse local, national, and regional cultures across Asia and globally. The curriculum leverages expertise from various disciplines including anthropology, art history, East Asian languages (Chinese, Korean, Japanese), literature, cultural history, music, philosophy, religion, political science, international relations, sociology, and criminal justice. Both major and minor tracks are offered, with an Honors program option. Asian Studies pairs well with numerous other fields such as fashion, business, game design, and linguistics. The program actively promotes enhanced cultural and language immersion through international study opportunities.
