Anthropology examines the human experience across all dimensions of time and space. This discipline encompasses several specialized branches (applied anthropology, archaeology, biological anthropology, and sociocultural anthropology), with the University of Delaware's Anthropology Department boasting internationally recognized experts in each domain. By combining scientific and humanistic methodologies, we investigate human diversity through cultural, historical, environmental, and biological lenses. Our department fosters hands-on learning via laboratory work, ethnographic studies, and archaeological investigations.
