The CU Denver Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program expands upon core concepts typically covered in undergraduate mechanical engineering studies. Participants can select from four specialized tracks. The initial three options allow students to concentrate on thermal sciences, mechanical systems, or biomechanics. At CU Denver's College of Engineering, Design and Computing, we're committed to delivering thorough engineering instruction across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Our faculty engage in research spanning five key areas: civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, bioengineering, plus computer science and engineering. The college partners with statewide industries, offering students valuable laboratory access and research projects that provide practical skills for career success.
Upon fulfilling the coursework for any of the four specialization paths, students may choose additional mechanical engineering graduate courses to meet credit requirements. With advisor approval, they may also enroll in relevant graduate-level courses outside the mechanical engineering curriculum.
