The Film & Television Department provides a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program focused on Film and Television. This specialized track delivers hands-on, rigorous instruction, mandating the completion of multiple film/TV productions across genres like fiction and documentary. Students advance through the curriculum together as a cohesive group. They'll develop individual projects while collaborating on team assignments, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical production skills. Graduates will be equipped for entry-level industry roles, independent creative pursuits, or advanced academic studies.
The department also provides minors in film & television production, writing, and performance, featuring a cutting-edge curriculum within a well-rounded liberal arts framework.
Learners have opportunities to collaborate with professors, visiting professionals, and peers by engaging in departmental productions, television programs, digital media initiatives, and student-led projects.
