Juvenile and family law encompasses diverse legal matters including marital issues, separation, child custody, parenting time, financial support for families, cases involving child welfare, youth offenses, the adoption process, wills and trusts, school-related legal matters, and laws affecting seniors. The Juvenile and Family Law Program (JFLP) equips students with focused expertise in this area, facilitates networking among peers, scholars, and professionals, and promotes cross-disciplinary approaches to both studying and practicing in this legal domain. The Program features tailored coursework, investigative initiatives, field placements, and hands-on clinical experiences.
