In parallel, data science employs predictive models to guide business strategies. The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computing Systems provides a PhD program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.
Our graduate program fosters a dynamic research atmosphere with access to cutting-edge initiatives. Research funding is secured through prestigious organizations including NSF, NIH, NASA, Army Research Office, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Office of Naval Research, and Ohio Department of Transportation. Our department boasts world-class facilities with 32 faculty members, featuring advanced research labs specializing in hardware/software systems, AI, neural networks, image processing, EDA tools, MEMS technology, sensor development, millimeter wave and photonic systems, nanoelectronics, and optoelectronic devices.
