This biomedical sciences concentration allows students to delve deeper into biological areas most pertinent to professional healthcare careers like medicine, dentistry, nursing, and allied health fields. It offers strong preparation for the standardized exams required for admission to professional schools, while building a foundation that readies students for advanced coursework in these programs. Students can concentrate their upper-level electives in subjects including human and comparative anatomy and physiology, medical botany, microbiology, cellular physiology, genetics, and related disciplines.
Biology is the methodical exploration of life and its processes. Biologists investigate life's organization, spanning from molecular structures to ecosystem dynamics. Biology majors develop skills in critically observing life's details, analyzing data, and applying classroom knowledge to draw conclusions from their observations.

First-year applicants (sometimes referred to as freshman) are students who have completed high school and have not earned college course credit since graduating.
English test score requirements: ELS - 112 Graduation; IELTS - 6.0 Overall minimum of 5.5 on each section; PTE - 46; TOEFL - 66 iBT minimum of 15 on each section; Duolingo - 95; Cambridge - 169 minimum, Recommended exam: C1 Advanced.
