Geography examines how human activities interact with physical landscapes through spatial analysis. By studying the connections between people and their surroundings, geographers bridge the gap between social and natural sciences. They interpret mapped data from various sources, including hand-drawn charts, digital maps, and satellite imagery (remote sensing).
Environmental BS students will develop skills to evaluate and convey scientific findings from environmental reports and policies, while also gaining hands-on experience designing and conducting ecological research studies.
