The computer science program provides both BA and BS degree options, along with combined BA/MS and BS/MS programs. BA graduates are equipped for either advanced studies in computer science or professional careers in the tech industry. BS students enhance their expertise by completing an approved curriculum in a complementary discipline. A minor is also available. The Computer Science Department presents multiple entry points into the program. Students should thoughtfully select their introductory courses in collaboration with their College advisor and departmental advisors. Both BA and BS degrees require completing an approved two-quarter calculus sequence to satisfy the mathematical sciences general education requirement. For the BA, any physical sciences course sequence approved by the Physical Sciences Collegiate Division fulfills that general education component.
