This curriculum equips students for diverse interdisciplinary careers in environmental fields, bridging science and public policy. Coursework covers ocean and atmospheric chemistry, climate systems, biogeochemical processes, ecological studies, conservation, and environmental economics and policy. Students are actively encouraged to participate in research projects. Each year, the department organizes multiple field excursions lasting from single-day outings to five-week expeditions.
