The Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics provide a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics. This curriculum caters both to students aiming to focus specifically on computational or applied mathematics, as well as those seeking a robust quantitative foundation applicable across diverse fields including physics, life sciences, engineering, operations research, economics, and financial sectors. To fulfill the major requirements, students must develop a customized concentration by selecting three interrelated courses that align with their academic goals. This tailored focus area can be designed, for example, to prepare for doctoral studies in applied mathematics, computational science, artificial intelligence, operations management, economic and financial theory, physical sciences, or biological research.
Students are required to have high school equivalent of US qualification.
Applicants are required to have score of 100 or higher on the Internet-Based TOEFL or 600 or higher on the Paper-Based TOEFL. Minimum required scores on the IELTS are an overall score of 7.0, with subs cores of 7.0 each. The minimum acceptable score on the PTE is 70
