This multidisciplinary program embraces the concept that law serves as an instrument for social structuring and regulation, most effectively comprehended through examining both its written expressions (documents) and its real-world impacts (community). Instruction comes from Law School professors alongside experts from Anthropology, History, and Classics departments. Learners can utilize the renowned D'Angelo Law Library, housing 600,000 volumes and ranking among America's premier legal research facilities. Following foundational studies in legal analysis, participants pursue further classes in law and social systems, complemented by electives addressing relevant subjects, fields, competencies, or interests. Degree candidates develop two significant research projects in their third and fourth years. Transfer applicants are ineligible for this program, which features a selective admission procedure during sophomore year. The Initial Course must be completed before all other major requirements, as it lays the conceptual foundation for the curriculum.
Students are required to have high school equivalent of US qualification.
Applicants are required to have score of 100 or higher on the Internet-Based TOEFL or 600 or higher on the Paper-Based TOEFL. Minimum required scores on the IELTS are an overall score of 7.0, with subs cores of 7.0 each. The minimum acceptable score on the PTE is 70
