The Master of Fine Arts in Theatre with a Themed Experience specialization equips students to become future innovators in the themed entertainment field. This program focuses on developing specialized creative and production techniques, methodologies, and principles used to craft immersive environments like theme parks, zoos, aquariums, retail spaces, restaurants, museums, digital worlds, and exhibitions.

Leveraging UCF's renowned School of Performing Arts and its strong industry connections, this distinctive program benefits from the university's prime Orlando location - the global center of themed entertainment.

Graduates of the Themed Experience track will be prepared for careers as art directors, show producers, designers, production artists, or creative executives in themed environment development. While many alumni work directly with theme parks, others pursue opportunities with cutting-edge firms specializing in custom attractions, exhibitions, retail spaces, theatrical productions, special effects, events, and museum displays, as well as companies supporting the themed experience sector.
