The Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree is designed for individuals pursuing leadership roles and administrative careers in schools. This MEd curriculum offers both theoretical foundations and practical training necessary for principal certification and meeting Florida's Level I Educational Leadership requirements. The coursework aligns with Florida's Educational Leadership Standards and prepares students for the FELE exam. To complete this Educational Leadership MEd, students must earn at least 36 credit hours post-bachelor's degree, comprising 30 core credits and 6 internship credits. While most courses can be taken in any order, EDA 6946 must be completed in the final two semesters.

Qualification Requirements
All applicants for graduate study at the University of Central Florida must hold a U.S. bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a regionally accredited or governmentally recognized institution of higher learning. This is the minimum requirement for admission to a graduate program at UCF. International students applying to programs requiring an outside Course-by-Course Evaluation with GPA calculation must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official transcripts from a credential evaluation service recommended by UCF. This course-by-course evaluation must show a GPA that is equivalent to a 3.0 from an earned degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.
