The MAT in Teacher Education with a focus on Middle School Mathematics is a state-recognized initial certification program designed for aspiring educators who wish to teach math to students in grades 5 through 9, as well as those already certified in other teaching areas.
This Master of Arts in Teaching program, approved by the state, adheres to potential modifications outlined in the Florida Administrative Code (State Board of Education Rule 6A-5.066).
