The Film and Digital Media Ph.D. program breaks down conventional boundaries between artistic creation and scholarly analysis. It fosters meaningful connections between hands-on creative work and academic theory, offering students opportunities to pursue projects that bridge the gap between media production and critical studies. Covering diverse formats like cinema, television, video art, and digital platforms, participants examine these media's historical, aesthetic, political, and technological dimensions within global contexts, exploring both their intersections and their role in cultural evolution. This program equips graduates for both theoretically grounded creative work and scholarly research across various professional settings beyond academia.
