The UC Santa Barbara Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology offers comprehensive, interdisciplinary programs for Master's and PhD degrees, focusing on ecological and evolutionary studies along with marine biology and oceanography. With diverse research specialties and viewpoints, the department fosters a wide-ranging understanding of ecological and marine sciences while encouraging cross-disciplinary research methods.
