The Department of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology (EEOB) provides a thesis-based MS program designed to help students achieve expertise in core concepts related to their chosen specialization within evolution, ecology, and organismal biology. Rather than following a rigid curriculum, each student collaborates with an EEOB faculty advisor to create a personalized program aligned with their academic goals. Together, they assemble an advisory committee that may offer additional guidance on coursework and research direction. Graduates from our program have secured prestigious national fellowships, postdoctoral positions, and careers in academic institutions, government conservation agencies, research centers, and private sector companies nationwide.
