The Conducting, Keyboard, Piano Accompanying, Strings, Voice, and Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion programs focus intensely on developing each performer's specialized abilities. The MM degrees aim to equip students for professional music careers, while the DMA integrates performance with higher education instruction. Advanced studies in music scholarship and performance are available for graduate students. Our offerings include Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs in Composition, Ethnomusicology, Musicology, and Music Theory. We also provide Master of Music (MM) degrees in Piano Accompanying, Woodwinds and Brass, Choral Conducting, Keyboard, Strings, and Voice. For doctoral studies, we offer a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Choral Conducting, Keyboard, Strings, Horn, and Voice, plus a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with potential specializations in European Medieval Studies and Feminist Studies.
