In today's interconnected world where challenges span across borders—whether economic, political, environmental, or social—the need for multilingual professionals with cultural awareness has never been greater. As an Italian Studies major at UCSB, you'll develop these crucial skills through a tailored and adaptable academic program. Beyond our interdisciplinary on-campus courses, you'll have opportunities to study in Italy for up to a year, either via the Education Abroad Program (EAP) or through other accredited US university programs.
