UCR's Ph.D. in Business Administration with a Finance specialization equips students with comprehensive knowledge of financial theories and analytical techniques. This program aims to develop researchers specializing in asset valuation and corporate financial management. Given finance's strong ties to economics and quantitative analysis, participants must complete coursework in microeconomics, econometrics, and advanced finance seminars. Qualification Requirements
Admissions applicants are expected to have completed a bachelor's degree at a four-year accredited college or university and to have attained an undergraduate academic record that satisfies the standards established by the Graduate Division of University of California, Riverside.
A minimum of a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or B-equivalent (if GPA is not on a 4.0 scale). We recommend that you check with the graduate program as they may have a higher standard for their GPA requirements. If your GPA is below this, follow up with the graduate program you are interested. Applications are reviewed in their entirety and the program can look at your other components and advise you on potential admission.
