UCLA's one-year Master of Engineering (MEng) program is a self-funded professional degree crafted to cultivate tomorrow's engineering leaders. This program meets the demands of both students and industries, specifically designed for those aiming for technical management roles with a blend of advanced technical expertise and leadership acumen. The curriculum features an interdisciplinary tech focus, professional engineering development, and a culminating capstone project.

Integrated circuits remain pivotal in shaping today's technological landscape. The increasing integration of AI across industries, the drive for faster communication speeds, and breakthroughs in healthcare, defense, transportation, quantum computing, and other fields have further amplified the need for versatile, high-performance integrated circuits.

UCLA Samueli School of Engineering's IC Design MEng program provides students with core knowledge and practical skills to tackle emerging challenges like innovative devices, performance variability, complex circuit designs, and mixed-signal integration. The coursework merges traditional analog/RF and digital IC design with contemporary mixed-signal approaches. While students can focus on digital or analog/mixed-signal/RF IC design, the program offers flexibility for personalized specialization.
