The Social Research Methodology (SRM) Division focuses on investigating and applying inquiry methods in educational and social research. Our M.A. and Ph.D. programs concentrate on research design, evaluation practices, creating and implementing new methodologies, analyzing data within theoretical and practical frameworks, and critically assessing research findings. Additionally, we provide a certificate program available to all UCLA graduate students. Our mission is to equip individuals with the skills to evaluate research critically, design data collection strategies, and perform both conceptual and statistical analyses relevant to education and other behavioral and social science disciplines.
