On April 7, 2009, the Undergraduate Council's Curriculum Committee approved the Neuroscience B.S. as a capstone program. The Neuroscience capstone serves as a project-based culmination of the curriculum. Students fulfill this requirement through research opportunities: working with a faculty mentor, taking the NS 101L research methods course plus an additional elective, or joining a DOPA Team. These options give neuroscience majors hands-on research experience and a comprehensive final project to complete their studies.
