Though humans share numerous biological traits with other species, they also possess distinctive physiological characteristics. This program will additionally explore special physiological features of nonhuman organisms and how these unique traits might offer valuable perspectives on human health. Advanced courses in this curriculum aim to combine core concepts from biology, chemistry, and physics to develop a comprehensive view of how exercise and sedentary lifestyles affect human health in both normal and disease conditions.
