The Religious Studies program offers an interdisciplinary exploration of how diverse cultures throughout history have shaped their spiritual concepts, practices, institutions, and customs in addressing life's profound questions. Through courses spanning the Humanities, Social Sciences, Social Ecology, and Arts, students gain comprehensive insight into religion's societal role. This field of study applies multiple scholarly approaches to objectively examine religious frameworks, their followers, worldviews, and manifestations. The curriculum fosters critical analysis of religion's influence on human cognition and culture. Majors can specialize in either Global Religious Traditions or focus specifically on the Abrahamic faiths of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
