The Applied Mathematics Graduate Group brings together more than 90 faculty members across disciplines, known for its rigorous academic programs and vibrant research environment. Designed for students passionate about mathematics who want to apply mathematical concepts to advance scientific and engineering fields, the program provides in-depth training in areas like differential geometry, topology, differential equations, fluid dynamics, biology, atmospheric sciences, mechanics, optimization, theoretical chemistry, computer science, mathematical physics, signal processing, harmonic analysis, numerical methods, nonlinear PDEs, and applied mathematical analysis. Graduates develop both qualitative and quantitative expertise for careers in research and teaching.
