Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have transformed how individuals work, entertain themselves, share knowledge, and maintain social connections. This has created significant need for experts who grasp the principles of human interaction and can apply this understanding in both scholarly and professional settings. Researchers specializing in ICT examine how communication technologies are utilized and their broader implications. Their investigations span diverse areas including social platforms, gaming and immersive environments, portable devices, technological progress in developing regions, ICT adoption patterns, societal consequences of algorithmic systems and AI, digital interaction formats, online harassment, user interface design, virtual group dynamics, and the shift toward digital communication across various industries. To explore these topics, researchers employ conventional approaches like controlled studies and questionnaires, complemented by network mapping techniques and innovative data-driven methodologies.
