Since its establishment, UC Davis School of Law has been a hub for globally recognized research in international, comparative, and transnational law. King Hall's innovative international programs have consistently attracted scholars and professionals worldwide to collaborate with the Law School's expert faculty. Recently, the California International Law Center at King Hall (CILC) has elevated the Law School's International Law program, creating even more opportunities for students.
The International Law concentration offers academic courses that deepen students' knowledge of global issues by examining international law, politics, and business. The curriculum features diverse subjects, ranging from international business transactions to human rights and criminal law.
Students in this concentration also gain extensive hands-on experience through activities like moot court competitions and the Immigration Law Clinic, where they engage in real legal work, client interactions, and develop writing, research, and advocacy skills. They can also join student groups such as The UC Davis Journal of International Law and Policy, International Law Society, and UC Davis Law Review.
