Animals serve crucial functions in human economies, communities, and cultural traditions. They may act as significant economic assets, cherished pets, troublesome pests, or components of intricate ecosystems. Animal biology, which examines biological concepts specifically relating to animals, connects fundamental biological sciences with practical animal care methods. As an animal biology student, you'll gain opportunities to apply classroom learning through direct interactions with both wild and domestic creatures. The Animal Biology program provides education in biological and natural sciences focused on animal life. This major explores core biological disciplines essential for comprehending animal development, classification, environmental relationships, bodily functions, and cellular processes. Animal Biology students are urged to look beyond specific animal groups they favor and view science as an investigative method for discovering new knowledge and benefiting society. The curriculum highlights biological theories applied in research and addressing human-animal conflicts in farming, cities, and wilderness areas.
