The Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with an Animal Industry focus offers a multidisciplinary education, blending business principles with animal science for careers in dairy production, food safety, research, marketing, and beyond. The curriculum covers business law, accounting, marketing fundamentals, alongside science courses like microbiology and physiology. Students can customize their degree with five elective courses from fields such as Animal and Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Natural Resources, Agricultural & Resource Economics, and Molecular and Cellular Biology. Program faculty and mentors encourage students to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems in animal agriculture and agribusiness.

International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
