As a sociology student, you can specialize in law and society, social services, comparative global studies, or general sociology. This degree offers comprehensive training in sociological theories and research methods. Your coursework may explore diverse subjects including (but not limited to) racial and gender inequality, the systemic factors that sustain them and strategies for reform, modern immigration trends and their impact on employment, education, and healthcare systems, criminal justice structures, healthcare policy, or the rise of unstable employment conditions.
The Sociology program delivers a well-rounded liberal arts foundation, equipping students for advanced social science studies or diverse professional paths. Sociology graduates frequently pursue careers in business, education, legal fields, social services, data analysis, research, healthcare, community development, and international sectors.
Freshman applicant will be completing or have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination: Internet-based test (iBT): Minimum score of 80 or better
iBT Home Edition: Minimum score of 80 or better
Paper-delivered test: Minimum score of 60 or better
