Psychologists perform research to understand the factors shaping human behavior, encompassing biological influences, environmental contexts, and cultural backgrounds. These insights can address practical challenges across diverse sectors like business, therapy, education, and tech, while also aiding individuals with mental health conditions or emotional difficulties. Your academic journey starts with an introductory psychology class to familiarize you with core concepts. Following essential courses in research methodology and statistics, you'll be prepared to tackle our upper-level psychology offerings. Those pursuing a Bachelor of Science will complete additional coursework in mathematics, chemistry, and life sciences alongside specialized psychology studies. Bachelor of Arts candidates can complement their major requirements with various humanities or science electives. No matter your degree path, you'll have exceptional opportunities to engage in independent research, collaborate with professors on their work, or gain professional experience through internships.
