Psychology examines the workings of the mind and its impact on behavior. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Psychological Foundations, Graduates will exhibit core understanding of principal theories, historical developments, and research findings to analyze behavioral challenges through a psychological lens. Bachelor's degree recipients should demonstrate sophisticated application of psychological frameworks to complex issues. 1.1 Recognize fundamental concepts, subject areas, and central themes in psychology 1.3 Utilize psychological theories to address individual, societal, and workplace challenges
Research and Analytical Skills, This competency area focuses on cultivating scientific reasoning and investigative abilities, including mastery of research methodologies. Students develop proficiency in behavioral analysis, research evaluation, and applying experimental design principles to draw conclusions about psychological processes. 2.1 Employ scientific methods to analyze and potentially conduct psychological studies 2.3 Demonstrate creative, integrative approaches to problem-solving 2.5 Consider cultural and social influences when conducting research
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency.
