The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences, launched by the EECS Department during the 2011-2012 school year, is a professional graduate program with higher tuition costs compared to other offerings, tailored for students aiming to enter the engineering field right after completing their studies. This intensive one-year program cultivates future engineering leaders with expertise in technical, economic, and societal aspects of technology. The comprehensive curriculum features three core elements: (1) specialized technical coursework, (2) leadership development classes, and (3) an immersive capstone project.

Every MEng student in EECS must fulfill requirements including four (4) graduate-level technical courses within the department, the Fung Institute's leadership training program, plus a department-supervised capstone project.
