The MS Program in Medical Anatomy and Experimental Pathology offers education in human macroscopic and microscopic anatomy along with the study of disease and injury mechanisms. This program equips students for professional paths in healthcare, premedical studies, or biomedical research. Collaborative research projects with faculty span from exploring cellular and molecular disease processes and tissue regeneration to creating visualization techniques for biological structures and examining teaching methodologies or industry applications. For those seeking deeper research immersion, our Computational Cell Biology, Anatomy and Pathology MS program provides specialized training.
Required course work consists of a graduate seminar class Histology, Human Gross Anatomy, and Principles of General Pathology and Basic Disease Mechanisms.  The remainder of the curriculum is developed on an individual basis but, in general, comprises interdisciplinary courses, courses in areas relevant to the student's project and career objectives, and a substantial project prepared under the guidance of a full time department faculty member and committee selected by the student and faculty advisor.

A bachelor’s degree is required to enter the program.
