    • Applicants are encouraged to select references who served as faculty or instructors of courses previously taken, or faculty who advised or worked directly with the student previously.¬†For applicants without recent college experience, professional references are allowable.
    • References will be asked to provide a letter of recommendation for the applicant.
  • The following are highly recommended:
    • One general biology course
    • One health-related science course (e.g., nutrition, anatomy, microbiology or physiology)
    • Two courses in behavioral sciences, including a course in sociology or social psychology, and a course in subjects such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, political science or economics
    • Statistics or other quantitative coursework. Appliciants should have a B or higher in related coursework.
  • Supplemental materials
    • Domestic applicants with degrees earned outside the United States are encouraged to submit a WES evaluation with their application. Applicants may be asked to provide a WES evaluation if the admissions team is unable to evaluate academic credentials based upon official transcripts submitted.¬†
